Synopsis
For my daughter Rumi, moving houses is an adventure. But for me, it unexpectedly touches upon an older story. Forgotten memories of departure and loss resurface.
In this intimate documentary about diaspora, motherhood, and political responsibility, four generations of Iranian women try to understand what of their past must be preserved, and what may finally disappear.
