Synopsis
Today the big refugee camps in the Horn of Africa have much more to offer than humanitarian aid. As one of the fastest growing cities of the region, Kakuma camp can mean a new beginning, a way out, offering hope for a better future. The Invisible City [Kakuma] links the coming of age of 3 teenagers with the coming of age of refugee camp Kakuma.
The Invisible City [Kakuma] combines a feature documentary with 2 digital platforms: a socially innovative webtool that helps refugee teenagers to find their family in the camp and a webdocumentary that enriches the perspective of Western audiences.
